Speccy for Windows

Speccy is a multifunctional monitoring and diagnostics tool capable of displaying detailed information about the hardware of personal computers running on the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Processor, motherboard, RAM, hard drives, sound cards – you no longer have to look into the system unit and remember the name of the components every time. Speccy will tell you about everything in extraordinary detail, and at the same time – help to share information with friends, saving the collected information in TXT or XML format on your hard drive or external drives.

There is no need to pay for non-commercial use of the Speccy software tool on Windows computers. The developers at Piriform suggest that you immediately forget about payments, subscriptions and registrations. But, if there is a desire to use the corporate version, then you will have to pay up to 650 rubles for 3 PCs (the set will also include the CCleaner Professional version, and Defraggler and Recuva). The price varies greatly and directly depends on the region of the purchase: in the USA and Europe, prices are much higher.

Why do I need the Portable version

Speccy Portable is a special version of the software that allows you to diagnose computers from removable media, such as USB drives and MicroSD cards. There are no functional differences between Portable and Standart Edition. The only difference is that the Portable version does not need to be pre-installed and runs through an exe file without additional preparation.

How to change the language

Speccy developers suggest changing the interface language in the View section, the Option menu item. A corresponding button will immediately appear at the top of the section allowing you to select a translation. At the moment, there are 24 language packs available, and Russian is also in place.

How to choose Celsius over Fahrenheit

The standard metric system Speccy – degrees Fahrenheit, and therefore – do not be afraid of high temperatures, it is better to look in the Option section and in the same place, next to the language selection button, put a tick in front of the “Celsius degrees” item.
