Wasteland 3 Features

• Roles in Wasteland 3 change depending on the position chosen. Even as a legalist, you don’t have to indulge everyone;

Story & Gameplay

The events in the third part of the Wasteland series take place on the territory of post-apocalyptic Colorado, barely survived the apocalypse and nuclear winter. Around – wastelands scorched by radiation, icy skyscrapers and destroyed shopping centers. The world literally froze in time and space and resembles the scenery for a fantastic world, where there are no survivors, human civilization has disappeared, and hope has dried up.

Despite the frightening style, life in Wasteland 3 is still in full swing. On the horizon, you can see the light from the military bases organized by raiders and criminals, and the smoke from the settlements that take a neutral position in all conflicts and are interested only in the development of agriculture. There are also cities with merchants, cafes and bars, where there is a place for every virtual traveler. The world is fully functioning, but it needs resources and legalists – those who will fairly share the supplies, and at the same time help preserve the wreckage of civilization.

The gameplay corresponds to the assigned tasks: the heroes will have to move around the global map, explore the sights, look into cities and settlements and deal with the main and secondary tasks. As in the previous parts of the series, half of the problems are solved by diplomacy, and in other cases one cannot do without the use of equipment….

Updates, Content and Trials

Wasteland 3 is distributed according to a one-time payment model: for 1999 rubles (the cost varies depending on the selected region and set), the developers are allowed to explore Colorado, look into the ruined state of Arizona, and at the same time download patches, updates and some DLCs. After the upgrade to Ultimate, content add-ons are also unlocked.

In terms of updates, the developers from inXile Entertainment get along better with the third part than with the second: new content is released more stable, and fixes for balance, errors and problems appeared immediately after the release. There are no problems with the tests: in addition to exploring the wastelands, serious plot twists and turns, Wasteland 3 provides a cooperative mode, designed to go through the entire story together with the chosen ally over the network. Radioactive wastelands will cease to look so lonely and abandoned if there is a faithful companion nearby …
