Thais Carvalho (journalist for TechTudo), when comparing the mobile game Free Fire with a gaming platform of a similar genre, Rules of Survival, noted that the first option is considered a more preferable choice in terms of performance on various mobile devices.

In 2019, Free Fire was awarded by Google in the “Best Dreakthround Game” category as the most downloaded gaming software with a profit exceeding $1 billion.

At the beginning of 2022, the Korean corporation Krafton, which is the founder of PUBG, filed a lawsuit against the Garena holding with a claim of gross copyright infringement.
