Events in NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIK unfold according to the rules depending on the selected mode and the goals set: the developers allow cooperating with allies (in a team of up to 4 who wish) and defeat artificial puppets that appear on the way, communicate with NPCs in hubs, and then – advance to multiplayer arenas and survive there on the scale of gladiatorial battles.

Variety is also brought in by maps, represented by wastelands and with undersized barracks, and ornate canyons with dungeons, zones for jumping and tricks. The environment greatly affects the gameplay – the way of interacting with opponents, the damage done and even the speed of movement often depends on the chosen position. The more carefully the location is chosen, the higher the probability of inflicting unexpected damage and instantly disappearing from the advancing counterattack. But hiding in the shadows is not necessary every time – a real professional is able to dodge any of the attacks!

Content, Updates and Purchases

The developers expand the universe of NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIK almost continuously: every six months there is access to the Season Pass (additional items of equipment, new modes, rules and maps), mentors (including combat techniques, titles, hairstyles, hats and accessories) and even characters. Content is purchased through the built-in digital store at varying prices (from 199 to 999 rubles, depending on the region and the selected set). But acquiring access to innovations is not at all necessary – often purchases do not affect the balance and do not add extra features, apart from items that affect the design of each character.

In addition to content for NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIK, technical updates are also released to combat errors and crashes, bugs and translation problems. Updates are released regularly, but the developers have not been able to achieve perfection until now. The network modes are overflowing with cheaters, the controls are not fully configurable (the block is crossed with evasion, which often causes offensive and defensive combinations to be dropped), and the same cards are explored in a couple of hours and new ones are hardly foreseen in the future.
