Remnant: From the Ashes is an atmospheric third-person shooter with dark scenery and a twisted story centered around the last days of human civilization.

But there are still chances to survive: a new technology for building portals gives earthlings a chance to move in space and find the source of eternal evil …

Remnant Features

• Procedural location generation: every time in Remnant: From the Ashes you have to survive in unpredictable worlds with randomly placed opponents and secondary missions;
• Resources are needed: neither bosses nor random opponents can be defeated without materials spent on upgrading equipment and weapons;
• The gameplay is extremely intense: battles take place almost according to the rules of Dark Souls: you need to monitor the actions of opponents, use rolls and carefully select equipment;
• The plot narration is ornate: both positive characters and enemies will meet on the way, forcing them to accurately calculate actions and not trust anyone …

Ambience & Gameplay

Remnant: From the Ashes unfolds in an intricate storyline divided into challenges. Each time you have to move between the portals and clean up randomly prepared portals with opponents, and at the same time deal with additional goals, such as collecting materials and information about the events that have taken place.

In the portals, battles unfold in real time and in the format chosen by the hero: it is not at all necessary to attack opponents head-on – silent attacks that do not raise “alarms” are quite welcome. After returning to the base, the developers offer to upgrade the equipment and choose new targets, and at the same time communicate with the NPC.

The atmosphere in Remnant: From the Ashes is unique: the developers have crossed both the near future, and Retro elements and chaos spreading from alien organisms. There are bruises everywhere, severed parts of unknown organisms, and eerie growths that cover every element of the environment. You don’t get tired of looking at the sights even after the hundredth immersion in the virtual universe – the scenery is too realistic and the style is unique.

Updates and Content

After the release of the official version of Remnant: From the Ashes, the developers immediately focused on developing themed DLCs that could expand the universe and add items, opponents and talents. A month later, Subject 2923 appeared, and six months later – Swamps of Corsus. The innovations have become global: in “Subject 2923” there are additional allies, otherworldly dimensions and bosses that turn the usual battles upside down. Swamps of Corsus has a new Rogue-Like mode, along with a collection of armor, weapons, and skins.

In addition to content updates for Remnant: From the Ashes, interim patches are also released to correct the balance and add technical stability. Crashes have become a rarity, and FPS has not sagged below 60 FPS for a long time, even in loaded scenes on recommended PC assemblies in Full HD resolution. Sometimes only network errors interfere, and even those are connected only with European servers.
