At the start of the game, there is a plot twist that forces Emily and Corvo to flee the palace. With new abilities and a choice of heroes, you set off to find a way to return Emily to power. You can choose a playable character only once, but you will be initiated into what is happening with another hero. Also, the plot of the game depends on the choice of the hero.

Any decision affects the plot, and each mission can have its own individual outcome. There will be no co-op mode in Dishonored 2. According to the developers, the co-op kills the atmosphere and the seriousness of the story games.

Dishonored 2 Characters

The main characters are the heiress to the throne Emily Kaldwin and the protagonist of the original Corvo Attano. The skills and abilities of the characters are very different in terms of gameplay.

Kirin Jindosh, the inventor of the Duke of Serkonos and a disciple of Sokolov, was featured in the trailer. Sokolov will also appear in the game and, presumably, will deliver the hero on missions in a boat.

The hero will no longer be silent. Not many players liked Corvo’s silence, and words like “Wow, look here” can point the player to some important detail that makes the game more casual. In graphic terms, the game has noticeably changed, retaining its cartoonish-realistic style. Despite the unique traits of a sunny coastal city, the sequel has retained its gloom and mystery, and the environment is striking with its attention to detail, as can be seen in the screenshots of the game.

Scene

Almost everyone who has played Dishonored will not argue that the game world is as important as the characters. Dunwall is not a background location. This is a city with a history. Dishonored 2 will take us to the Capital of Serkonos – the city of Karnak, which will visually be more sunny and will have a lot of wooden buildings, wooden weapons, even security drones will be made of wood. The city has a steampunk style, completely different buildings and facades. Dunwall is inspired by early 19th century London, while Karnaca is inspired by the Mediterranean countries. Karnaca is the birthplace of Corvo, which prompts the idea of ​​revealing his past in Dishonored 2.

As already mentioned, Dunwall will not be the main location, but it will be the setting for the first and last mission. The base of the player and his assistants will be the ship, and there will be no open world in the game.

Missions

In the previous part, many people liked the task “Lady Boyle’s Last Reception”. The goal of the mission was to eliminate Lady Boyle, and the player was given a choice of how to do it.

It was a bright and unusual feature. In the second part, each mission will be built in this way, and each way of completing the task will decide the further development of the game. The mission, which showed the gameplay of the game, is called “Dusty Quarter”.
