5 best games for weak PCs

Over its long history, the video game industry has accumulated dozens and hundreds of legendary projects that can impress even a seasoned player over the years. This article has collected 5 of the best games for weak PCs that have something to surprise.

Bioshock

The first part of the famous series of games was released in 2007 from the publisher 2K Games.

At one time, the project was a breakthrough for the genre – beautiful graphics, original style, atypical atmosphere, new mechanics and what it is worth going through Bioshock now is an exciting plot.

The story plunges the player into the Cold War, when one brilliant scientist decides to create an underwater city of dreams – Rapchur. But over time, the situation got out of control and now there is devastation, chaos and dangerous mutants reigning there. The main character named Jack, who has to find out Rapchur’s past and get out of this nightmare, gets to this place forgotten by God.

Dishonored

The game was released in 2012 by Bethesda and is positioning itself as a first-person stealth action game with RPG elements.

The main feature of the project, which still clings, is the nonlinearity and full responsibility of the player for his choice and style of passage. There are no right or wrong decisions, the only right ways to reach the goal. Only the player can decide which way to go and what to do, and this will directly affect the plot and the ending.

The action takes place in the fictional city of Dunwall, where the development of technological progress and a raging terrible plague are mixed. Play as Lord Protector Corvo Attano, the empress’s personal bodyguard, whose life has turned upside down after being falsely accused of murder and subsequent imprisonment.

Pestilence. Utopia (Pathologic)

The game was released back in 2006 and combines many genres: survival, RPG, horror, novel with interactive choices, action-adventure, but the developers of Ice-Pick Lodge dub it a “decision-making simulator”.

The authors did their best and created not only a deep and original world with a pleasantly depressing atmosphere, but also created a unique game mechanics, thanks to which any action and inaction has an impact on the entire subsequent gameplay. For each player, the passage will be individual and different from the subsequent ones, because the freedom given to the character is almost unlimited.

You have to play in the City-on-Gorkhon, seized by a deadly plague of unknown origin. There will be three main characters to choose from to fight the infection: a judicious bachelor, a local self-taught doctor and a girl who imagines herself a saint.

Fable: The Lost Chapters

One of the best role-playing games, the classics of its genre, the world saw in 2004, and a year later a supplemented version was released. The project was led by the notorious Peter Molyneux in cooperation with Lionhead Studios.

The gameplay of the game is a classic RPG, but with one interesting feature: in addition to characteristics, the appearance of the character is influenced by whether the main character commits good or evil deeds.

Fable does not have a complex deep plot, it is rather an unforgettable atmospheric fairy tale, a vivid adventure with an unusual approach that leaves its mark on the soul.

American Mc Gee’s Alice

A thriller-platformer interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s popular fairy tale Alice in Wonderland was released in 2000 under the direction of American McGee and with support from EA Publishing.

In terms of gameplay, the game is a third-person action game, where a significant part is platforming, diluted with simple puzzles and battles with enemies.

Most of all, American Mc Gee’s Alice has succeeded in creating psychedelic design. Eerie landscapes, confusing dynamics of locations, many false dead ends and all this is saturated with an atmosphere of despair and insanity. The picture is completed by the corresponding pumping music, the impressions of which are difficult to convey in words.

Alice again finds herself in Wonderland, distorted by the unhealthy mind of the protagonist. Throughout the plot, the girl will have to tidy up Wonderland and its psychological state.
