ELDEN RING for Windows

Elden Ring tells the story of the Interdark, the destroyed Elden Ring and its fragments, the Great Runes, giving power to the new rulers of this kingdom. The player will have to take possession of all the fragments of the ring, put it together and become the Lord of Elden.

According to FromSoftware director Hidetaka Miyazaki, the main gameplay mechanics of ELDEN RING will not differ from previous games in the Souls series – Interworld will be divided into many locations connected by a main hub (like the Temples of Fire in the Dark Souls series), but in addition to the standard fast travel system the player will have access to a mount (an insider from FromSoftware under the nickname Omnipotent described it as an ibexa – a mountain goat, or Yakula). The combat system, in addition to the traditional features for the series, will also acquire a stealth element, and it will also be possible to fight on horseback. According to the developer, with the help of new mechanics, the player will open up more opportunities and strategic approaches to combat.

Elden Ring was first announced at E3 2019 with a release date set for January 21, 2022. The game will be available on Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S.
