Despite the immense transformation in terms of graphics, the gameplay remains largely unchanged. We, as before, have to choose cars, improve their characteristics and participate in numerous races. Conventionally, all races take place in a career or multiplayer mode. The main campaign is divided into five chapters, which are additionally divided into a certain number of stages.

You will need to go through the chapters on cars of different classes, of which there are only 5:

• D is the entry level designed to prepare the player for the upcoming challenges of Asphalt 9 Legends;
• С – powerful cars, among which there are both muscle cars and real legends of the automotive industry;
• B – middle class, with iconic cars;
• A – Pre-top sports cars with high power ratings are collected here;
• S – exotic cars that only the most persistent players can get to.

To put a new car in your garage, you will need to collect a certain number of drawings with its image. At the initial stages, new cars are collected for free, for more powerful cars you will have to pay extra. Also, all vehicles have a level expressed in stars, they also predetermine the permissible rank of the vehicle (maximum level of pumping). To increase the level, you will again have to deal with the collection of blueprints with the same car.

With rank, things are much easier. To increase it, it is enough to spend gold coins to improve 4 parameters:

• Maximum speed – engine upgrade.
• Acceleration – makes it easier to accelerate the car.
• Handling – affects how comfortable the control of the selected car will be in Asphalt 9.
• Nitro – the effectiveness of nitrous oxide, the duration of its action, etc.

After purchasing an improvement, it happens instantly, you don’t have to wait for the installation. After several stages of improving one of the parts, access to imported components is opened, designed to raise the characteristics to transcendental heights.

But what requires waiting is the recovery of fuel used for races. Its replenishment rate depends on the vehicle level. It can be replenished for a fee or when you move to a new account level.

Unlike its predecessor with the number 8 in its name, the new Asphalt looks amazing. Of course, in Asphalt 9, graphics only depend on the hardware power of the mobile device. Only owners of top smartphones will be able to fully enjoy its beauty.

Management

In the new part of the game Asphalt 9, the developers have added even more arcade elements and set the default Touchdrive system. She independently controls the turns of the car, the player only has to swipe to select a turn, press the brake for drift and turn on nitra in time. Those who like to control the driving process will be able to change the controls in the game settings.
