Streets of Rogue is a rogue-lite game about player choice, freedom and anarchic fun.

The game draws inspiration from fast-paced top-down cheating games like Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne and adds free-form, experimental, emerging gameplay elements to RPGs like Deus Ex. The game takes place not in a dungeon, but in a functioning, procedurally generated city, where sophisticated AI informs residents from all walks of life who are simply trying to cope with their daily routines.

To progress in Streets of Rogue, the player will need to complete certain mission objectives in any way he sees fit, using his special traits, items and environment. Will you play as the soldier who shoots first and then asks questions? A secretive doctor who uses chloroform and tranquilizer darts to silently destroy the opposition?

An affable bartender who can work his way past the most intimidating security guards? Or how about a superintelligent gorilla rescuing other caged gorillas to form a small mobilized gorilla army?
