Description

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order is a large-scale, spectacular and filled with complex plot twists and turns, telling about the fate of the Fallen Jedi Order and dedicated to saving those who have yet to save the galaxy.

The complex and convoluted storytelling is not the only pride of the developers at Respawn Entertainment: the competitive mechanics with lightsaber battles, and the acrobatic stunts and atmosphere of space with starships, stations and half-abandoned planets look much brighter. STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order walkthrough will be remembered once and for all.

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order Features

  • Cinematic battles. The new battle system offers parrying and dodging, attacks and lunges, defensive maneuvers and acrobatic techniques: the hero will have to wage an unequal fight against a growing number of opponents, experimenting at every step and turning to the Force to free the way.
  • New history. The plot centers around the rescue of the Order by a young Padawan. And you have to act quickly – while the idea revolves around the like-minded protagonist, the Empire is already preparing a retaliatory strike and expects to end resistance in a matter of days. But is it worth giving up?
  • Endless galaxy. Forests and mountains, jungles and spaceships – from the very start the action movie sets the bar high and is not going to lower the requirements for the ending. The hero will have to explore new ways of interacting with locations and look into those wilds that previously seemed inaccessible.
  • Unique style. New technologies are transforming STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order into a skillfully painted canvas with three-dimensional objects, realistic shadows and competently set special effects (albeit not in the open world). In addition, work is also planned on visual improvements – rain leaves marks on clothes, and dirt lasts for hours.

Versions and Access

Publisher Electronic Arts has taken care of the launch of the action movie both on the latest generation consoles – Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and on a PC with Windows operating system: regardless of the choice of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order will offer similar competitive mechanics everywhere and tell about the fate of several characters, for a long time known in the Star Wars universe.

As for the price, STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order is also transparent – the basic copy will cost 3,500 rubles (regional prices, which EA usually have for the Russian Federation, are no longer provided for – you will have to pay the full cost equivalent to 60 US dollars), and Deluxe- edition – 3800 (new skins, additional materials from the Director’s Cut, which includes a documentary and digital art book).

Whether there are more DLCs or additional missions that have to be paid for is unknown, while the developers are focusing on early updates that can get rid of some of the problems and errors that appeared at the start.

Gameplay and mechanics

The events in the game STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order unfold exclusively on the scale of the storytelling, excluding non-linear decisions: from the start to the finish credits, you have to interact with Cal Kestis, a young Padawan who is forced to hide underground for his own salvation.

Hence the result – frequent movement through abandoned space stations with non-working compartments and abandoned housing estates. After half of the training gameplay in STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order, battles will appear, but local ones – with opponents who have lagged behind full-fledged units and are forced to defend themselves in battles with the Jedi rather than attack.

From the point of view of adversarial mechanics, the universe of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order began to resemble the revived series about the Tomb Raider: the main character must climb the ledges, secretly move around the map, hiding behind objects and walking along unknown ledges, and at the same time – use the environment in the struggle for freedom, not firearms or unknown equipment.

Oddly enough, but similar elements do not play a cruel joke with the action movie, but, on the contrary, help to add staginess and imprint to the narration straight from Hollywood. You can watch the hero’s misadventures for hours, almost without interruption for lunch and dinner. It’s a pity that the plot runs unforgivably quickly – 10-14 hours and credits run across the screen.

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order Characters and Decorations

The action movie is narrated on behalf of Cal Kestis, voiced and recreated according to the “templates” of the American actor Cameron Monaghan. From the very start, the hero will have to feel how dangerous the world around is, and how loneliness can penetrate the plans of Jedi life.

The situation will change only a long time later, when the character meets on the way an ally named BD-1 (a special droid that restores vitality and is able to interact with some individual mechanisms and objects on the map) and a Jedi Knight voiced by actress Debra Wilson. For the rest, you will have to rely only on like-minded people, who, for the most part, have not even heard of the revival of the Order, but secretly hope for speedy freedom.

Rating

Since its release, the Hollywood blockbuster Star Wars has been rapidly gaining top marks from critics and audiences alike, with positive comments easy to find epithets for the story – “deep” and “varied” – and adversarial mechanics – “difficult”, “unpredictable” and “ bewitching. ”

Only problems of a technical nature spoil the atmosphere (after the update, the save disappears, and on some scenes there are crashes), and the uneven pace, which turns the narrative into driving over bumps with battles and unexpected turns, or walking on asphalt, when there is nothing in the frame except for the scenery falls.
