Mad Max is an atmospheric and Hollywood-style spectacular open-world action movie with RPG elements and survival and non-standard racing races that force you to fight for life at unbelievable speeds.

In addition to the variety of genres, the developers from Avalanche Studios have taken care of the narrative: the plot is centered around Max Rokatansky, surviving in post-apocalyptic Australia, amid chaos, violence, lies and incessant wars for power, food and clean water.

Once Max remained away from the conflict and even tried to get to a certain “Silent Plain”, located at the edge of the universe. But after the appearance of the gang of Lord Chlem Ostrus, all dreams turned to dust, and neutrality turned into an open battle. From now on, Mad Max must free the wasteland from the dictator and tyrant, leaving his own fears far behind.

Mad Max is an open-world action movie where the storyline is split into main and side missions. Max will have to move around the map, fight and consistently develop the car issued at the start, opening up access to powerful equipment and additional gadgets.

There are many missions along the way – chases, shooting, fights: despite the variety, you will have to deal mainly with bloodshed. However, one should not expect other entertainments in the wastelands – they have long forgotten about diplomacy in the wild lands, from now on the only resource is cruelty and anger.

In terms of the atmosphere, the action movie easily overtakes its competitors in the genre – it is easy to see on the screen both deserts with dunes, and recent echoes of destroyed civilizations, and cities abandoned to the mercy of fate, drowning in sand without clean water and chances of prosperity. The locals look even more curious – instead of the usual clothes on the mutated characters, you can see frayed trousers, torn shoes and hand-assembled weapons from the found parts.

Battles in the game Mad Max are active and are accompanied by attack combinations and interceptions, played when the appropriate buttons are pressed in time. The principle of the fights is reminiscent of the Batman series, where a superhero dressed in a suit diligently cracks down on enemies, without interrupting the combination and twisting unique pirouettes.

In Mad Max, battles take place in a similar way, but with the support of firearms, frequent explosions and bloody endings, after which the victims are unlikely to try to return to battle.

Interaction with the environment looks interesting in Mad Max. Max is capable of throwing opponents off cliffs, pushing them into the mud, pushing them against the wall and injuring them in every possible way, using a variety of attacks with an unpredictable ending. It’s a pity, sooner or later, you will have to face the already familiar combinations, and then some of the fighting charm will disappear, but not for long. There will be bosses, shooting and a new war ahead.
