Description

Naval Action is hardcore, realistic and beautifully detailed naval combat that immerses players in the most beautiful period of naval history – when sailing ships ruled the seas. No game comes close to replicating the sailing mechanics and combat action of Age of Sail. Naval Action has been named one of the Best Early Access Releases of 2019 by Steam and the Steam Community.

Naval Action Features

Beautiful Ships – We have painstakingly recreated the beautiful ships of the sailing era. Accurate hull models, sail plans, guns, internal improvements, historical speed tests were used to create the ships. The game features over 50 ships, from small boats to large 100+ rank 1 guns, allowing the player to experience every possible role from that era.

Conquest and PVP missions in Naval Action

Fight on Server War – Fight for domination of the West Indies, recreated from 18th century maps and nautical maps. Build ships, trade, attack enemies of your nation almost everywhere and capture their ships. Open trade outposts and collect taxes in the ports that your clan controls. Invest to turn ports you control into industrial centers, shipbuilding arsenals, or fortified harbors. Invite other clans of your nation to your alliance.

Naval Action is made for PVP
The age of the sailing battle is a personal matter, no dirty tricks, camping in the corner or hiding in the bushes: you see the enemy from 20 km, and so do they. Just like in boxing, you have to be there; and use all your tactical knowledge about the wind, about your ship, to fight it face to face. Side weight matters, but even a smaller vessel can overcome a superior enemy by focusing on their weak points.

No hackers at all.
Hack is a fun killer in PVP games. From the very beginning, we built the technology around one main goal – the complete elimination of hacking from PVP. We can proudly say that we have succeeded. Naval Action is one of the few games in which hacking is impossible by design. Every combat action is calculated on the servers, even the shape of water and waves. Yes, you heard right: there is a special server that calculates and replicates waves for all users in battle. During battles at sea, you can be sure that you only encounter skills and naval equipment.

Other activities
Relax on the world server – all nations are at peace, and players cannot attack each other on the world servers. There are no port battles and conquests, piracy or privateering here. All ships can be captured from NPCs. World servers are perfect for friendly, peaceful gameplay.

Naval Action Tutorials – In-game tutorials and exams help you understand the basics and subtleties of shooting and maneuvering. Passing the final naval combat exam gives you the title of Master and Commander, as well as a frigate and other awards, to begin your adventures in the West Indies.

Admiralty Missions – Complete your Admiralty missions to earn doubloons, battle medals, and reward chests. Deliver cargo or passengers, hunt specific ships, join battles in patrol zones and sink as many ships as possible.

Trade and Privateering – Buy trade goods at low prices, transport them to distant places for high profits. Board ships and sell them and their cargo in nearby ports. Use shallow water to your advantage to escape big ships.

Shipbuilding and Manufacturing – Build ships, upgrade and cannons, supply your clans or your nation, or open shops in free cities to sell them to enemies.

Other Naval Action Features

Realistic sailing – Advanced wind and physics models provide a realistic depiction of ship performance in the sailing era. Yard angles, the angle of the boat in relation to the wind, equipment, and the condition of the boat affect the speed and rate of turn. Correct tack, tug of boxes, choice of clubs and other realistic swimming elements will help you win battles in the most adverse conditions.

Shooting and weapons in the game Naval Action – The main types of naval artillery have been implemented: from long guns to mortars to carronads and obuzers. The fort and land batteries will support you in battles off the coast. Mortar ships can destroy fortifications, although they may require escorts.

Each gun has realistic ballistics and armor penetration characteristics based on historical gun maps and admiralty tests. Roll and wind affect the firing range and will require a change in tactics.
