For the first time in the series, the vast country of China is shown on a single map with the introduction of an open world format for varied progression through the game. Thrilling one-against-a-thousand action from the Warriors series and beloved characters from the romance of the Three Kingdoms have been carried over, but freedom in the open world brings a whole new Warriors experience.

DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 Key Missions unfold and develop the player’s character story and are complemented by numerous missions from different regions, such as regular missions that influence key missions and requests from other characters. The situation will constantly change depending on which missions are chosen. In the many battles taking place on the map, players will find different strategies and tactics for themselves, such as “head-on attack”, “surprise attack from a hill” or “infiltration at night.” to enjoy the vast world of the Three Kingdoms.

The DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 map is beautifully designed and shows many different regions of China, such as snowy plains, jungles and deserts, which reflect the passage of time and changing climate. Key cities and checkpoints such as Luoyang and Hulao Gate, as well as attractions such as the Yellow River and Mountain. The songs are played, allowing for a deeper immersion in the game world.

The new system of state combos reacts and reacts to the surrounding conditions, relying on the basic system of actions of the warriors.
