NieR Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their battle to restore a machine-driven dystopia taken over by powerful machines.

Humanity was expelled from Earth by mechanical beings from another world. In a final attempt to reclaim the planet, human resistance sends a detachment of android soldiers to destroy the invaders. Now a war is raging between machines and androids … A war that may soon reveal a long-forgotten truth about the world.

• Action Battles – Players will switch between melee and ranged attacks in battles against hordes of enemies and challenging bosses on various open field maps.
• Tight controls and incredibly smooth combat are easy to learn for beginners, yet offer more depth for more experienced gamers. Players can perform high-speed combat – combining light and heavy attacks – and switch between an arsenal of weapons while dodging enemies with speed and style.
• Beautifully desolate open world – the game seamlessly brings together hauntingly beautiful landscapes and locations without loading an area. The environment is rendered at 60 frames per second and contains many additional events in addition to the main storyline.
• Masterfully Crafted Plot and Characters – NieR: Automata tells the story of androids 2B, 9S, and A2 and their brutal battle to reclaim a machine-driven dystopia captured by powerful weapons known as machine lifeforms.
• RPG elements – players will gain different types of weapons, level up in combat, learn new combat skills, and customize gear to suit their playstyle.
• Use the pod support system to assist in and out of combat – pods can attack the enemy in both manual and fixed modes. They can also help out of combat, for example by allowing the player to float in the air. Pods can be upgraded throughout the game, including updates, including new methods and attack options.
• NieR Automata “Automatic” is available for beginners – beginners can choose “Automatic” for light attacks and dodges.
