Code Writer for Windows

Code Writer is a free text and code editing application with active syntax highlighting that updates as you edit documents and has over 20 supported file types. The tabbed interface allows you to quickly switch between open documents.

The app was built from the ground up with Windows 8 design principles in mind. It’s fast and easy, and gives you the power to edit documents with features you’d normally only find in desktop apps. Code Writer is ideal for editing any text file, conducting code reviews, or presenting presentations with sample code.

Features of Code Writer

The main word processor screen allows you to edit documents in full screen without chrome distractions. By default, only scrollbars and row / column display are displayed. Find / replace and advanced features such as tabify strings and convertible case are also available.

Easily create new or open existing documents from any source available. Color is used throughout the application to create a connection between you and the different types of files you are working with.
