The latest Battlefield V is no longer the trench warfare known from the previous installment, but a very dynamic and direct battle. The limited health regeneration and the high damage done by the weapon make death very fast in this game. The detection of the detected enemy has been almost completely eliminated.

The game is accompanied by great realism. The damage that can be done to buildings and natural elements is significant. Buildings are destroyed in a really efficient way. Likewise, the movements of the soldiers are fluid and close to authenticity.

In Battlefield 1, getting in a car was all about clicking a key and the player was inside. Now a person watches an animation in which his soldier gets into a vehicle and, for example, opens a hatch in a tank to take his place at the rifle.

Maps

Cards are a strong point. They look fantastic visually. They are refined with great attention to detail. They are really bigger and more varied. It’s nice that Battlefield 5 got into lesser known episodes of World War II like the bombing of Rotterdam or the Battle of Narvik. Of course, one can look for paradoxes, such as the German V rockets in Rotterdam, but for what? Battlefield has never been strictly documentary about war; it’s more of a background, a set design inspiration for the plot.

Medic no longer spam with first aid kits, healing a ward in seconds, or heals his colleagues like a syringe tornado, which was possible in Battlefield 1. Bloodstorm is not even limited by the ability to resurrect, teammates and soldiers of all classes. Now, when the player dies, he can scream for help for several seconds, and when it comes, he sees the face of a colleague, accompanied by emotional animation. Of course, the help of a physician takes much less time. These changes are definitely a plus because they help make the battlefield real. However, the medic’s role seems to be slightly stretched compared to the previous battlefield.

The great realism is also enhanced by the limited ammo available. It is no longer enough to fly to the ammo box or wait a while to recover your resources. Now the support colleague must throw a bunch of bullets directly into the player’s hands, and it takes more time to replenish grenades, mines and other gadgets. This is why many people play Support Soldier because they are the only ones who can upgrade their own resources. Thus, players need to manage their resources more intelligently. Collecting a fragment from the victim in the form of ammunition left by him becomes an important matter in the game. In principle, this is a positive innovation.
