Mini World: Block Art for Windows

Mini World: Block Art is an experimental 3D sandbox with pixel style, a collection of various multiplayer modes and unlimited freedom of action.

From a gameplay point of view, developers from Miniwan Technology tried to borrow some of the mechanics and ideas from Minecraft: even with a cursory glance at the virtual world, it is easy to see the inventory with items, biomes with unpredictable flora and fauna, and a system of changing the time of day with monsters approaching at night. But outside of the classic Minecraft formula in Mini World: Block Art, there are unexpected ideas: we are talking about themed servers with additional content, and about competitive modes where it is important to fight, shoot or drive along pre-laid tracks on minecarts.

Features of Mini World: Block Art

• Classic Minecraft ideas in a new guise with curious physics, unusual characters and an impressive collection of new items and recipes for crafting;
• Random generation of the world with the ability to look into every corner and even go deep underground, where unexpected secrets and secrets await;
• An extensive crafting system with pre-written recipes that you don’t have to memorize;
• There are a lot of objects – apart from equipment and weapons, collected from scrap materials, there are interior decoration elements (and even tables and chairs!), as well as beds, bowls and doors, mechanisms and complex tools;
• Built-in configurator, where developers allow you to collect maps for story modes, open new content or place labyrinths with obstacles, and then invite friends and work together to make your way through the set traps.

Gameplay & Modes

Career in Mini World: Block Art single or co-op: after the generation of a new world, the standard “Survival” begins, known from Minecraft. From the start you have to move around the map, collect resources, extract meat from wandering animals, craft equipment and weapons. At night, other tasks will appear – you have to hide from zombies, spiders and skeletons, hide in mines or whip up huts and houses.

The concept of Mini World: Block Art is not new, but the developers do not offer to sit in “Survival”: there is a lot of entertainment on special servers, where football matches are held, and walks on special virtual kayaks along strange rivers. Additional modes are extremely diverse, and in many respects are centered around multiplayer and social interaction: there you will definitely have to look for a team, chat with allies and adjust to the events together.

Servers and Content

If “Survival” has long been tired, then it is easier to immediately return to the menu. There, a configurator for creating content is prepared, and access to the workshop is open, from where developers are allowed to officially upload additional content. We are talking about items for characters (skins, equipment), and about cards with non-standard gameplay goals and additional tasks. Mini World: Block Art will have a chance to play hide and seek, have a couple of football matches and shoot some futuristic weapons. Getting bored is impossible. New content appears almost daily!

Access to the servers is not limited by anything – no one bothers to immediately plunge into the new universe, chat, and then return to the menu and change your leisure time. There are no rules or goals – just entertainment, without a break to watch ads!
