The Guild 3 – 6 years have passed since the release of the last part of The Guild series. Throughout the existence of the games, this series has not acquired a huge army of fans, however, it has, albeit a small, but very warm and sincere circle of fans. The Guild 3 combines economic strategy, medieval life simulator and role-playing game.

The events of the very first part of the game take place in Europe in the 15th century, during the late Middle Ages, centuries of free citizens and flourishing cities and developing trade. You, as a commoner, suddenly wanted to get rich by starting your own business. However, in this you are hindered by the main forces that have dominated throughout the 15th century – the church and the government. At the beginning of your journey, you have no capital at all. You start out with a clean face, but you have plenty of energy and time to make progress!

New Elements for The Guild 3

Ok, with the history of the game and development figured out, but what awaits us in The Guild 3? Namely, what innovations should we expect? Firstly, unlike the previous parts, in the third Guild you will control only one hero. But this does not mean that you need to completely forget about the family. You will have to pay your attention to her as well.

After your main character dies, you will be given the opportunity to play as his heir, if any. If not, then for you it will mean the end of the game. The heir will retain the skills of the previous characters. This means that we will be able to master many professions, and not limit ourselves to one.

In the game, the system and elements of pumping, unfortunately, practically did not undergo any changes. For performing certain actions, the system will award you points with which you can increase your LVL. The only new element of pumping is that now professions have specializations, to which you will be given access depending on your pumped skills. Also, new buildings will be available to you from your skills.

The distance between buildings will be reduced, and in general they will be placed more logically. But the cities will now be divided into separate territories – districts, and each will have a separate opinion on the account of their ruler. In one area you will be hated, in another you will be idolized. It all depends on your actions. Also, the buildings themselves will affect the environment. For example, the buildings around the bandits’ lair will look poorer over time, which makes sense.

According to the developers, the game The Guild 3 will have more than a dozen new professions. Also, now it will be more difficult not only to raise your status and occupy higher posts, but also have to try to keep your post. Secret communities will interfere with this, but they can be for you too. In general, the difficulty of the game will also increase.

Networking & Graphics

The Guild 3 will feature a new, improved graphics engine, which means that we should expect significant improvements in graphics and visuals in general. Also, the developers left some of the features of the previous parts, for example, the change of day and night or seasons. A single-player company will appear in which you have to go through the storyline, in addition to the main endless mode. An editor will be introduced that will allow you to create or edit maps or even entire scripts.

The Guild 3 developers have announced that the game will also have a multiplayer mode. True, only 32 players can be simultaneously on the server, but this is not so little. Both open and closed beta testing are provided. The creators promise to upload their game to Steam within this year.
