Max Payne 3 – a computer 3D – shooter with a third-person view of what is happening was announced back in 2009. For more than three years, the developers have been creating a worthwhile sequel to the Max Payne series, and at the end of 2011, fans of this game were able to get what they wanted.

The game was released on the next generation consoles and computer platform.

The plot of Max Payne 3 takes us ten years after the events of the second part. Max cannot withstand all the events and gradually loses everything that is dear to him, at the same time getting addicted to alcohol and pain medications. Age takes its toll, and it is more and more difficult for him to lead the old way of life. By the will of fate, he manages to move from New York and Brazil and start working in a large security agency.

His first assignment is an influential family and everything goes well until the client’s wife is kidnapped by an influential mafia. After that, Max has to pull himself together and start guarding the three brothers who get into gang warfare in order to defend the honor of their family.

Features of Max Payne 3

• The entire storyline is divided into 14 chapters, and if the first few do not seem rich in history, then the further passage will captivate the players with their heads. The plot twists turn out to be really unexpected, and the last three chapters completely force them to go through them in one breath, without being distracted by all sorts of other things.
• Throughout the entire game of Max Payne 3, there is a persistent feeling that you are watching a movie, so the developers tried to make the game effective and filled to the brim with information. There are no loading screens in it as such, which is incredibly pleasing, all their time is occupied by inserts from the video that continue the plot, and then suddenly the control is again in the hands of the players.
• The arsenal of weapons does not differ much from the old versions of the game: assault rifles, pistols, submachine guns, assault and sniper rifles, shotguns and melee weapons. There are about 50 different types in total, which gives you a choice.
• The combat system has been redesigned, now the main character can shoot from any position. Hand-to-hand combat appeared in the beginnings, but it is expressed with a couple of blows if you get too close to the enemy.
• Gone is the ability to carry a large number of weapons, now the player can only carry two pistols and one two-handed barrel, which has greatly increased the difficulty of the game.
