Frostpunk, the latest game from the makers of This War of Mine, is a social survival game where heat means life and every decision comes with a price.

In a completely frozen world, people are developing steam technology to withstand the unbearable cold. Your task is to build the last city on Earth and provide the funds needed for the survival of your community.

Frostpunk’s optimization and resource management is often at odds with empathy and thoughtful decision making. While the management of the city and society will take up most of the ruler’s time, at some point, exploration of the outside world is necessary in order to understand its history and current state.

What decisions will you make to ensure the survival of your society? What will you do when you are pushed to the limit? And who will you become in the process?

Frostpunk Features

• Establish the laws governing the existence of your growing society. Decide on their work schedule, health care, nutrition and other important aspects of daily life. Keep them hopeful and content – the morale of your society is just as important as securing the basic funds to keep them fed and safe.
• If you have reached a turning point, feel free to determine the path of your people. Should you guide them with an iron fist… or show them the path of compassion and faith? Go to extremes or try to find a fair balance. Whatever you choose, remember: there is no turning back.
• Some of your decisions will seem small – such as deciding the fate of a troubled citizen or fulfilling the demands of the newly created Frostpunk faction – but remember that the sum of your actions can lead to unexpected results. Your people believe in you, but their devotion is not unlimited. Leadership can be a burden.
• Survival requires progress. Respond to current events, but keep the long term in mind and invest in development and technological progress. Providing a highly developed infrastructure with autonomous machines, airships and other technical marvels is difficult, but achievable. It all depends on your managerial and leadership qualities.
• While New London is your focus, there is much more to the world than what is within your city limits. Expeditions, while risky, can bring you valuable information, precious supplies, and increase the population of your society. There may be people, and their fate is entirely in your hands.

Frostpunk’s Endless Mode gives you unlimited replayability. Play on 8 different maps with different terrain, weather conditions and challenges. We know that different people are looking for different experiences, which is why there are 3 modes in Endless Mode.

Endurance will be the ultimate test of your building, handling and survival skills in the harshest of Frostpunk environments. Builders where there is no generator available to begin with, which creates a different type of difficulty. Last but not least, Serenity, focused on enjoying the art of building the city itself without too much pressure.
