To save a certain part of Americans from life in such difficult conditions, the Vault-Tec corporation built a network of shelters underground.

In the center of what is happening in the game Fallout 3 is the Lonely Wanderer – the protagonist, who from an early age lives in the shelter at number 101. It seems to him that it has never been revealed since the war, but one day something very strange happened: his own father went outside. What are the motives for this act? To find out, the Lone Wanderer goes in search of a relative.

Once in the city of Megatonna, he learns that in the old days, the shelter was repeatedly opened for research purposes. The Wanderer’s father is said to be on his way to a radio station called Galaxy News.
