Desperados III is the heir to the RTS of the 2000s, of which there have been very few lately.

But Mimimi games strives to revive challenging yet addicting games that challenge the player. And so far they are doing great. Such a treasure of the gaming industry must be protected and supported in every possible way. Then the long-forgotten genre will get a second youth.

This idea is not new, but it was fully developed here. The interactive environment of Desperados 3, a variety of objects and unique abilities – that’s what allows you to get a different result in the same situations at the exit. Also during the story, five characters are unlocked: John Cooper, McCoy, Keith, Hector Mendoza, and Isabelle Moreau. Their gameplay differs both in different abilities (for example, McCoy can shoot silently at a long distance), and at the level of physiology (younger heroes can climb the wall, etc.). Especially memorable is Isabelle, who is able to bind the souls of enemies (when one dies, the previously bound enemy follows him) or lure them over to her side. All this diversity works thanks to a gradually increasing level of difficulty that adapts to the composition of the team.

The main emphasis in the game Desperados 3 is made on the stealth mode of passing. And so, sit in ambush, plan your moves to the last detail, like in chess, and willy-nilly glance at the scenery and surroundings. And they are, extremely rare, beautifully stylized. Various little things, landscapes and expanses of the Wild West are truly mesmerizing. Also, NPCs are not just dummies, but what are not personalities. One challenges the other to a duel for a bottle of whiskey, the other accidentally got into a train robbery and became a hostage and the like. All this plunges headlong into the world of the game, enticing for long hours of passage. The atmosphere allows you to imagine yourself as a real cowboy who decides whether the enemy should die or not.

The same feeling haunts the player in the previous creation of this studio – Shadow Tactics. The scenery, vegetation and surroundings – all this forced to accept the role of a proud samurai who fights for his honor. However, it won’t be difficult to distinguish Desperados 3 from other similar games. Lighting, art, sounds – all this pleases the gamer. Russian dubbing deserves special attention. Not all AAA projects have it implemented. And here all the characters are fully voiced, and the voices that are familiar to all fans of movies about the Wild West, and a font similar to the original version.
