Children of Morta for Windows

Children of Morta is an action RPG based on a rogue approach to character development, in which you play not just one character, but a whole, unusual family of heroes.

Hack hordes of enemies in procedurally created dungeons, caves and lands and lead the Bergson family, with all their flaws and virtues, against the coming Corruption.

GAMEPLAY
In terms of gameplay, it is a unique combination of RPG adventure, rogue-lite and hacker slash game. As you level up, you develop not only individual characters, but the whole family. There is no immortal death, and you can change family members between dungeon passes.

HISTORY
The story takes place in a distant country, but it is connected with common themes and emotions for all of us: love and hope, longing and uncertainty, ultimately loss … and the sacrifices we are ready to make to save those we are more about we care about everything. Ultimately, it’s about a family of heroes facing off against the oncoming darkness.

UNDERGROUND crawl
All dungeons in Children of Morta are procedurally generated, which means they are located differently for each adventure. Each dungeon can have anywhere from two to four levels, with a unique boss fight at the end. You can always return to previous dungeons to gain additional experience or complete all side quests.

CHARACTERS & SKILLS
Ranged attacks, magic spells, blocks, stuns, healing, dodges and passive skills – all of which you can discover, unlock and improve. You can choose from seven different family members, each with a unique set of skills. Father, John is a guardian warrior with sword and shield. The eldest daughter Linda is an accurate archer. Kevin, a quiet fighter armed with deadly daggers. Lucy is a lively and daring fire magician. Mark is an attentive martial artist. Joey, who smashes his enemies with a sledgehammer. And the latest addition to the family is Apan, a powerful healer and staunch defender rolled into one.

ART STYLE
A fusion of hand-drawn pixel art and time-lapse animation combined with modern lighting techniques comes alive to create the beautiful dangerous world of Children of Morta!
