A.V.A. – This stands for Alliance of Valiant Arms. This is far from the first time, they decided to make Russia the main source of the conflict.

Either the mysterious Russian soul is seen by foreign friends as something incomprehensible, and therefore threatening, or simply there was no better candidate, but in the world of this game, ultranationalists came to power in Russia with the idea of ​​uniting the territories of the former Soviet Union. And since it was impossible to leave such a step unanswered, Western Europe, having enlisted the support of the United States, is launching a campaign against Russia in order to stop its rapid growth.

City battles in A.V.A

For those who are “offended for the State”, there is an opportunity to play for Russia. By and large, everyone can consider for himself which of the two sides in this war is right and which is not. The main thing is that neither one nor the other should forget that this war is fictional and exists only on a computer monitor. Fun fact, by the way: A.V.A. and all Koreans. It was probably fun for them to sit at home and make a game about how other countries are fighting each other, without interfering themselves in all this. But, nevertheless, the very mechanics of this multiplayer shooter-simulator of urban battles are done well at all.

The fighters here are divided into several classes, each of which is designed for specific tasks and has its own strengths and weaknesses. Playing as a sniper in A.V.A, a scout or a melee master, you will find your favorite moves and their combinations, and you will be able to develop a unique fighting style. As for the appearance of the fighters, their uniforms are copied from real-life anti-terrorist units, although they are presented in many variations (for those who like to decorate their appearance and hang distinctive details, there is also such an opportunity). Another nice touch is the voice acting of the soldiers. There are both English and Russian.

The same conflicts, only international

But, by and large, here we are faced with the same familiar formats as in many other online shooters: in one, the fighters of the opposing teams gain speed points earned by killing enemies, and in the other they are trying to blow up a key object, or protect it from sabotage by the enemy; in the third – just hold certain positions … And, of course, many favorite battle mode “every man for himself”, which does not fit into the plot at all, but very interesting and driving from a game point of view.

However, there are other options as well. And if the A.V.A mode, in which soldiers must accompany a slow-moving tank, is unlikely to arouse great enthusiasm (few people like such missions), then the mode with the search for an artifact that can appear anywhere on the map is becoming interesting. One way or another, before us is just another online shooter: with its own plot, with its own subtleties and nuances. It is unlikely that he will become better than others … But it will not be worse either. And for a game of this genre, you don’t need more.
