Railway Tickets is the first mobile application for buying railway tickets. You can buy a ticket for any train in Russia, the Baltic states and some European countries through your iPhone or iPad. Pay for your order by credit card, Apple Pay or PayPal. You can register electronically directly in the Railway Tickets mobile application. Then, when boarding the train, you will only need to show the conductor your passport and a printed boarding pass. You can store all your tickets in the built-in iOS Wallet application. View the train schedule in a separate “Schedule” tab, which contains all the trains that depart on the selected date in the direction you need.

Features of Railway Tickets

• Discounts. Schoolchildren and seniors can buy train tickets at a discount! On all trains where Russian Railways special fares are available, you must select the “Junior”, “60+” or “School” fare. Available tariff options can be selected at the stage of entering passport data.
• VIP. For travelers who prefer to travel in a soft carriage or SV without companions, the opportunity to book an entire compartment for one passenger at a discount is available. These cars are marked with a VIP icon.
• Meeting room in Sapsan. There is an opportunity to buy out the entire compartment-meeting room on the Sapsan trains, and it will be cheaper than buying separate seats in the first class.
• Back and forth. Buying tickets has become even faster with the ability to buy tickets in both directions at once in one order. On the search screen, select the date “There” and immediately “Back”, browse suitable options for a trip there and back and make the purchase of two tickets at once.
• Passenger Directory. We’ve added a convenient way to store passenger data. Now it is enough to save all the data required for registration once, and when buying a ticket, simply select the desired passenger from the directory, all the required data will be filled in automatically.
• Promo codes. We send letters with promotional codes to our regular customers. Enter your promo code when purchasing your ticket in the app and get a discount.
• I’m lucky. Are the tickets sold out or not yet on sale? Set up a push notification and the app will notify you when tickets are available.
• Reliability. Application Railway Tickets has been tested and approved by JSC Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport (VNIIZhT).
