Mi Band Master is an alternative version of the client for fitness bracelets from Xiaomi, which opens access to new design solutions and additional functions not presented in the official Mi Fit assistant. Heart rate, number of steps taken, sleep quality, current weather, alarm clock, activity statistics – from now on, information is displayed through separate statistical menus that allow you to compare results by day, week and month, share data with friends and even compete for prominent positions in the leaderboard. In addition to the new interface, the developers took care of the complete Russification of the text, and at the same time provided a section with “Events”, where it is easy to add information about upcoming trainings and important sporting events.

• Functionality. The Mi Band Master app offers precise sleep monitoring with graphs showing the quality and duration of even short nap breaks; flexible setting of alerts for specific events (low charge, steps taken, calories burned), assistance in remote weather detection. Of the individual possibilities, it is worth highlighting the quick preparation of a new profile that is not tied to Xiaomi products: that is, you will not have to register on the official website (with which many have recently had problems) – everything will work automatically and in a matter of seconds.
• Interface. From the point of view of design, there are many surprises, especially in a head-on collision with the Mi Fit. The new design is clearer and more inventive: at every step there are graphics, some informational kits, tips and even “slogans” to start life from scratch. It may be difficult to call such things extremely useful, but the official client still does not offer anything new, so why not experiment again?
• Settings. Among the parameters, there are no options related to the design of the dial or the amount of information displayed on smart watches or bracelets. You can only change the “meteorological provider” that allows you to view the temperature, and the design of a mobile companion that displays various data. You can also choose alerts, experiment with sounds and vibration.
• Updates. Technical glitches still appear too often, which is why there is still enough disaffected audience. But the authors are already aiming for a quick serious result, and therefore they almost never stop trying to get to the truth with the help of updates, small innovations and important advantages.

The developer describes in detail how to set up notifications in Mi Band Master in the “Help” section: there are also recommendations related to binding bracelets or smart watches directly, or through Mi Fit. The list of necessary actions depends on the choice: if a direct binding is not needed, then you will not have to untie the accessory from the Chinese service, and authorization will go through the Xiaomi account in a matter of seconds. Alternatively, there are much more actions, but more settings for applications in Mi Band Master will open. There will be a chance to regulate the list of incoming notifications (mail, instant messengers, social networks), and even control the current activity of the day.
