Implementation and Content

The Play Go service is designed in a classic way for the genre: a standard news feed with thumbnails of content available for viewing is placed on the screen. If you select a movie from the menu, the system will immediately display a short description, display the rating and cast, and at the same time prompt you to start watching. The series is loaded differently: a grid with seasons, episodes, recently viewed materials with statistics will appear. But regardless of the format, further events unfold directly in the player, which is almost devoid of identification marks. Below is only the timeline, the Play button and Picture-in-Picture, and at the same time – the view mode switch – in full screen or in a window.

It is impossible to choose the target language, set up subtitles or adjust the quality of broadcasts – all parameters are set by default. There is no need to select third-party sources either – the Play Go service automatically chooses from where to download content – social networks (including VK), sites like Video4You or even from YouTube. The list of supported resources is extensive, and therefore there is always enough content. Problems are possible only with performance and loading – sometimes sources transmit information for too long, and therefore playback periodically stops to load new frames.

Updates, Access and Registration

The technical state of Play Go still raises questions: the entertainment service regularly encounters errors and crashes, loses connection with the server and forces you to reboot and put up with emerging problems. Problems also arise from the point of view of regional access: some of the content is simply not displayed in the menu due to the geographic location of viewers, and therefore you have to either use a VPN or look for third-party sources.

The Play Go service does not offer to register: information about serials, films and TV shows appears immediately – even in the title menu. There is also a search bar, a section with new products, and at the same time sliders for sorting content by rating, views, cast. Only those who are not familiar with the Spanish language will have to understand the details for a long time, because a translation even into English has not yet appeared. As well as subtitles: all content is provided without translation and will definitely suit those who have long dreamed of diversifying their vocabulary and understanding the twists and turns of the language being studied.
