GT Racing 2 for Windows

GT Racing 2 is a racing simulator with licensed cars. Participate in 7 campaign seasons, compete in weekly competitions with rare prizes, unlock 71 cars and complete over 1400 races.

Gameplay

The start of a career follows the canons of shareware races: you find yourself in a garage, where you are offered to buy 1 of 3 starting cars. 2 are sold for credits, the latter is purchased for premium currency, purchased separately. Having decided on the starting car in GT Racing 2 on the computer and having given a nickname, we are introduced to 7 seasons of digging to match the classes of transport: F, D, C, B, A, S, L. Each of them has races for a specific car model and competition against vehicles from other manufacturers.

New races are opened after passing the previous test for at least 1 star, where the higher the occupied place, the more stars: come first, get three marks. The way to top the top spot in GT Racing 2 on Android depends on the type of race:

1. Classic – be the first to cross the finish line.
2. Overtake – get ahead of your opponents before the time runs out.
3. Classification – complete the course before the time runs out.
4. King of the Hill – Beat the leader of the race to get more points before the end of time.
5. Duel – overtake your opponent, get away to a safe distance, or wait until time runs out.

To qualify for a race in GT Racing 2, the vehicle must meet the following requirements:

• maximum speed;
• acceleration;
• agility;
• brake system.

If the car passes the requirements, a green checkmark will be put next to each of the parameters. A significant disadvantage is the method of pumping characteristics:

1. To do this in GT Racing 2 on PC, you will need to purchase a mechanic with banknotes.
2. The upgrade takes time, which increases in proportion to the level of improvement.
3. While a part is being replaced, it is impossible to race the selected car.
4. Instant installation of the upgrade is asked to pay in premium currency.

They live with “evergreens” as follows:

1. By earning the achievements listed in your account details.
2. Increasing the level of the account. Experience points are awarded for participating in races.
3. For participating in a certain number of races.

When in GT Racing 2, the level of detail reaches 5, the next improvement occurs only for banknotes, which forces you to invest real money or complete achievements. Considering how many cars in the project are required to purchase for career advancement, you have to go through the races again.

Multiplayer and Balance in GT Racing 2

In GT Racing 2 on Windows, conditional multiplayer has been added, which is divided into two modes: race and competition for an expert. They differ in the level of difficulty of opponents who act as images of real players, but during the race do not directly participate in the competition. Access to the first mode costs 100 credits, in the second – 300.
It also reveals the balance-related problem of the project. The player starts the race in the tail, so he does not have time to overtake the first rider, who instantly takes the lead and comes off 80 or more meters ahead. A similar situation accompanies races in the company, after 10 races passed. Payments for the first places do not cover the cost of upgrades, which is why you again have to return to the passed stages and earn money for pumping. By the way, there is a way to earn up to 10,000 banknotes by winning online games:

• Join a team that acts as an analogue of a clan.
• Users, participating in the races, get 10, 4 and 1 points when they come to the finish line, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
• Communities that take 1st, 2nd and 3rd places receive capital from banknotes, evenly distributed among the players.
• Crossing the line 4, 5 or 6 takes away points from the user.

Graphics & Physics

Download the game GT Racing 2 has been offered since 2013. In 2020, it looks “poor” on the monitor screen, due to the blurry textures of the environment and cars. The physical model of the behavior of cars is implemented minimally and partially drowned out by automatic braking and control systems. As in modern projects, there is a “perfect trajectory”, which helps to navigate when to brake to enter a turn.

GT Racing 2 is available for free on Windows, Android and iOS. It was published by Gameloft, adding in-game purchases ranging from 75 to 7490 rubles. There is no advertising inside the project.
