The story of the World on Fire is simple and is served in tiny portions: the developers from Gameloft are reluctant to talk about the KRA (a criminal group engaged in robbery, murder and terrorism), then about the lack of useful resources and cataclysms approaching the planet. Due to the frequent breaks in the narrative, even catching a glimpse of the plot is still a challenge. Therefore, you can safely skip the story and read only constructive information that appears with each announcement of a new mission (the lion’s share of the game time, the developers suggest either developing a settlement, or attacking opponents, or earning resources by overtaking competitors in the leaderboard).
