Secret Neighbor is a multiplayer version of the notorious horror film Hello Neighbor, describing events taking place in an alternative reality, but with reference to the already familiar storyline. As in the original, the story unfolds near a mansion located on the outskirts of the city and hiding some secrets in a dark basement.

It is not known what secrets await there, but local enthusiastic guys are already dreaming of getting inside. It’s a pity all the secrets are guarded by a strange neighbor, and also by the chains of locks on the doors leading to the basement. But why not put your forces together and try to take over the situation by deception and cunning? Let one of the allies distract a neighbor, the rest are looking for clues or clues related to the gloomy past of the world around.

• Intense gameplay plunges into a gloomy atmosphere immediately after choosing a character – rustles, creaking floorboards, strange scenery of a creepy mansion frozen in space and time – it is impossible to tear yourself away from such horror for a second;
• A clear separation of “responsibilities” allows you to look at the conflict from the side of unknown guys, and on behalf of a neighbor (and an additional secret character), forced to protect the property from unknown guests;
• Characters in Secret Neighbor are available for free and without restrictions, and each has non-standard abilities: someone is able to distract, and someone can find clues and clues faster than others;

• The concept of hide and seek is not new, but the developers literally force Secret Neighbor to download because of the strange mechanics that represent one child as a disguised neighbor who has to get into trust and deceive the rest. Such an unexpected turn of events is shocking and makes you three times check allies met in Secret Neighbor online.

Secret Neighbor Versions, Access and System Requirements

The release of the game Secret Neighbor (release date) has officially taken place on computers with the operating system Windows and the console from Microsoft – Xbox One. Perhaps, in the near future, like the original part of the series, new versions will appear on adjacent platforms in Russian. The developers do not rule out either a mobile analogue of Secret Neighbor on Android or iOS, or an adapted version for MacOS.

On a PC, Secret Neighbor is picky about the stuffing – without Intel Core i5-3300, 6 GB of RAM and a video card of the level of GTX 760 or Radeon R9 270, it’s pointless to come close to horror – low FPS, frequent crashes and errors will lead to sad results – chases from a neighbor will turn into torture, and hide and seek will begin to resemble a cross between a slide show and long loads. The situation will be partially corrected by the SSD, but even then not fully. And yet – the developers strongly recommend that you go through the Secret Neighbor with headphones: without high-quality sound, the world around you will remain a mystery.

A multiplayer blockbuster is distributed at a fixed price of 499 rubles. Additional payments that unlock new characters are not provided – after payment, access to all functionality will open without restrictions.

Secret Neighbor achievements and challenges overview

Hologryph’s multiplayer horror game takes place between Act 1 and Act 2 of the classic Hello Neighbor. And, just like in the original, the key goal is to look into the basement of a suspicious neighbor, collecting keys, opening locks and getting close to important secrets. But in addition to the standard gameplay elements, secondary ones appeared – this is how you can play Secret Neighbor on behalf of a neighbor, who is called upon to protect the house from restless guests, using gadgets and hiding in the shadows.

Depending on the role on the map, tasks also change – sometime you have to hide, and at some point, on the contrary, search. A similar approach also differentiates achievements: as an option, the Totally Secret Neighbor award is given to those who have not turned into a neighbor during the match, but First One! Assigned to the child who entered the basement before the others. In total, the collection has 10 achievements, and for the sake of some it is necessary to seriously try.
