Slither.io storyline
Events really unfold in a randomly generated location, where different participants diligently fight for a position in the final leaderboard. There are several main goals – firstly, it is important to survive by choosing a restrained tactic of behavior in battle (it is not at all necessary to immediately engage in battle and try to crush slow opponents, because in an attempt to attack everyone in a row, there is a great chance to lose the gained advantage and expose yourself to other competitors).
Secondly, each participant is required to collect the luminous spheres scattered around every corner. For each such sphere, the main character, the worm, increases in volume and turns from an unprepared youngster, unable to fight on a par with the rest, into a hulk, turning hard on corners, but frightening competitors with his own size.
What is the difficulty of the game?
The first adaptation takes place quite quickly, and this is due to competent developers who have prepared two “recipes” for recruits at once. In the first case, we are talking about a superficially, but well-structured instruction that suggests the available options. Say, enemies cannot be attacked with weapons (and where will such things come from worms that don’t even have hands?), But you can block the path in such a way that the opponent’s “face” crashes into the main character’s body.
The only caveat, but the battles change right there – everyone is trying to frame the enemy that has appeared on the horizon. It spins for a long time, changes position and wags its tail. Fun like this is amazing. Well, how can such a mechanic attract attention and make you fight for imaginary rewards for hours?
From additional instructions, it will become known that by double-clicking on the screen, the worm in Slither.io is able to accelerate, losing some of the accumulated spheres, but getting the opportunity to choose the ideal position on the battlefield in just a few seconds. It seems to be a trifle, but the impact on performance is stronger than other combat elements. And the final touch – it is impossible to crash into your own tail, and therefore any opponent in Slither.io can really be twisted into the body of a worm, if, of course, the dimensions allow.
The second way to learn tricks is to launch a competition not in a network format, but in a single one – in this case, the opponents will be extremely predictable computer intelligence, which is rarely a serious obstacle to glory.
