Buienradar for Android

Buienradar launches with a 3-hour or 24-hour rain forecast. The rain radar image will show you if it will rain in the coming hours or even the next day.

Below the radar is a rainfall graph. With this graph, you can see exactly when it will rain and how much rain is expected (in millimeters). If you prefer a more detailed view of your city or town, you can click on the magnifying glass icon to enlarge it.

The Buienradar app is available for your Android phone, tablet and Android Wear (smartwatch). Using your Android Wear device, you can see at a glance if rain is coming! Using a handy widget that includes a rain graph, you can check if rain is expected without even opening the app!

Buienradar Features

In addition to maps of thunderstorm, snow, sun, wind and temperature, we also offer data on wind chill, earth temperature, sun intensity, barometric pressure, gusts, visibility and humidity, as well as accurate sunrise and sunset times for your location.

Buienradar offers seasonal radar maps. In the summer, for example, you can use our pollen and mosquito radars to receive timely notifications when it is appropriate to hang up a mosquito net. In winter, you can use our snow radar, which informs you about winter precipitation, but we also offer a map specially designed for the earth temperature, which warns you of night frosts.

In the “14 days” tab (forecast for 14 days) you will find the weather forecast (in the form of a graph) for the next 14 days. You can also see a detailed list by clicking on the “Lijst” tab. This list offers an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and a daily average for the second week.

In the Meldingen tab, you can create your own rain alert (free push notification), customized to your daily schedule and favorite places, so you are never ready for rain or storm.
