Chatiw is a cross-platform service designed for dating, romantic communication and searching for interlocutors according to pre-selected parameters and in accordance with geographic location and individual preferences.

Against the background of competitors in the genre, the developers of Chatiw tried to stand out due to several concepts at once: here you don’t need registration, and advertising is rare, and even filling out a personal profile is not necessary. As an added bonus – the ability to quickly switch between chats and private messages.

Interface and functionality

Chatiw’s artwork fits the genre well. The central menu is centered around the already added interlocutors, columns with search, where they are allowed to sort the local audience by interests, location, gender and age, and recent activity. On the top left is a button for calling up an additional menu (sections with chats, personal messages, profile are hidden there), and settings are hidden on the right.

If you do not take into account sorting, search and communication (mainly text), then Chatiw is allowed to transfer images, call and record voice messages, and also share information about the current geolocation. Among the experimental features, the selection of random chats for communication was cropped up. The contingent is unpredictable, the theme is random, and the situation changes in a matter of seconds. And let fate tell you who is on the other side of the mobile screen.

Updates, versions and access

The dating service Chatiw is distributed according to the Freeware model: the developers do not offer to register, subscribe or pay for additional functionality on a one-time basis. Advertising is also rare: neither in the feed, nor in the section with private messages or in chats. There will be no problems with restrictions: it is allowed to communicate through Chatiw at least continuously – neither the timer nor the counter of transmitted messages will appear at the wrong moment.

With the technical implementation, the situation is many times more complicated: the developers still have not coped with any crashes or errors related to the network. Sometimes it is impossible either to look into the chat, or even to transfer recent acquaintances to the address book. Regulars also complain about problems – those who used to hang out on the Internet for hours and did not spend even a couple of free minutes without dating. It is still unknown when the situation changes and the developers will tweak the functionality, but it’s definitely worth the wait, Chatiw’s competitors do not offer even half of the features for free.
