The release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas first took place on the PlayStation 2 in 2004, after – on personal computers in 2005. And by 2013, the action movie became available on mobile platforms with iOS and Android.
Well, the developers transferred the game brainchild in its original form – they kept the brutal atmosphere, the seamless and limitless three-dimensional world, the beauty of the scenery and the available mechanics. As a result, smartphones and tablets now help to watch gang fights, steal cars, shoot, move along narrow streets and collect collection items anywhere – even on the way to work, even on the subway or bus.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a classic genre experiment that the developers from Rockstar Games invented with GTA III: there is the same three-dimensional universe surrounding story characters, the same approach to completing missions and additional tests, the same unlimited freedom of action, where everyone able to find entertainment to their liking.
And no matter what – gunfights, chases, collection of collectibles: every, even a small competitive element in the San Andreas universe is brought to perfection. However, first things first.
Story
The story is confusing, but dedicated to Carl Jones, an African American who was detained by the police on false charges. The hero is threatened with prison, but if Karl agrees to help the investigation and begins to deal with objects that are objectionable to the police in turn, then the idea of imprisonment behind bars may be reconsidered.
Shooting, theft, bloody massacres, chases and racketeering – a cruel gangster life awaits Karl ahead, but, according to the main character, it is easier to live even at the point of a loaded gun than behind bars in prison. From here, in fact, the story of criminal activity begins, which ends with the final credits. And what events await at the end depends on the decisions made.
Concepts
Action Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas offers to move around a three-dimensional city, perform military and peaceful missions, explore virtual streets and interact with locals, objects, vehicles and even shops.
Due to the endless freedom of action, the main character is able to transform into a taxi driver who earns a living by passenger transportation, and into a criminal hiding from the police and pursuers on helicopters, yachts, or in gloomy gateways flooded with neon signs.
Walkthrough
You will have to complete an extensive storyline in stages – developers from Rockstar Games offer to join a life of crime, communicating with various characters, and completing both small and large and cruel assignments (the range of activities is impressive – sometimes it is important to buy a sports car with investor money, sometimes – to steal police helicopter, cross half of the city, and then land on a base captured by unknown shooters and defeat everyone who gets in the way).
The main idea of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the connection with the virtual universe through different characters who can retell the same events with unpredictable overtones. Therefore, it turns out to look at the shootings that took place from different angles.
Equipment
Listing every item that a character can interact with is more difficult than it seems at first glance. The developers suggest using grenades and pistols, grenade launchers and automatic rifles, knives and batons, as well as cars, bicycles, body armor and rocket packs that can lift a character high above the ground.
An additional surprise awaiting connoisseurs of the GTA series is a change in the physical condition of the character. If you often go to fast food restaurants in the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas universe and spend the money you earn on burgers and french fries, then in a week Karl will gain weight and lose some of his characteristics – he will run slower, lose stamina and concentration faster.
And how uncertain the jumps will become – beyond words. The only way to remedy the situation is to move around the map more often on foot or by bike, or sign up for a gym, where the level of endurance grows at lightning speed and the body grows muscles in just a few virtual days.
Control
Initially, the action movie from Rockstar Games was sharpened for PlayStation 2 gamepads, later for keyboards and computer mice. And now – for virtual joysticks and touch buttons.
And, oddly enough, the developers didn’t make a mistake here either – it’s easy and natural to control the movements of the protagonist, the shooting proceeds smoothly, and the chases become a passionate adventure that you can’t tear yourself away from.
