Description

IPTV is an inventive, multifunctional and highly customizable media player that allows you to access IPTV of the selected Internet provider or from third-party TV sources found on the network.

IPTV offers to view the broadcast of channels, determined and intercepted mainly by the satellite, in MPEG2 or MPEG4 format using mobile equipment, set-top boxes or a computer. And, if a plan has already matured in my head on how to deceive everyone and get closer to the longed-for stream of entertainment, you should immediately remember that IPTV is just a player that collects information about the channels issued by the provider. If the provider has encrypted the information and provides access to content exclusively through special equipment, then you can not count on a TV entertainment session.

IPTV – Watch your internet provider’s IPTV or TV from any other internet source on your phone or tablet! If you are using IP-TV Player or VLC to watch TV on your computer, then this is the app for you.

IPTV Capabilities

  • Support for m3u and xspf playlists
  • Playlist history
  • Play multicast streams through UDP proxy (proxy must be installed on your local network)
  • Display channels as a list or grid
  • Support for TV program in XMLTV and JTV formats (if there is a link to the TV program in the playlist; for JTV only ZIP archives are supported)

Additional features and available in the pro version

  • No Ads
  • Option to automatically reconnect to the server when the connection is broken. Useful if you are using a playlist from the Internet and the player periodically crashes
  • Option to autorun the application when the device boots, useful for STBs.
  • Enlarged playlist history

Please note that the IPTV app does not contain any built-in channels. To use this app you need a playlist with a channel list. Please note that this app is just a tool for easy IPTV viewing. The broadcast itself is carried out by the provider, so if something suddenly stopped showing, then most likely the matter is in the provider, contact him. To make sure of this for sure, just open the playlist on your computer using VLC or IP-TV Player.

An IPTV media player that allows you to watch TV channels from a provider without direct payment for television, collects both positive and negative reviews at the same time. On the plus side, commentators and critics include optimization and a detailed “Help” section, where details are given for those who could not immediately figure out the setting, and some also highlight the easy exchange of pre-compiled playlists with friends.

Among the shortcomings of the player, there are problems with access to content when using mobile traffic (with 3G and even LTE, there are frequent problems associated with freezing during playback) and set-top boxes. But, perhaps, the developers will soon fix everything, and therefore – all that remains is to wait.
