ARK: Survival Evolved is a large-scale and spectacular survival simulator with branched elements of role-based development and non-standard stylistics, crossing together the attractions of a tropical island and technology of the distant future.

The main gameplay is centered around finding resources, building a base and exploring coastal areas that stretch over 36 square kilometers in different directions (the universe is generated randomly, allowing you to start a completely new path each time). In addition to a single playthrough in ARK: Survival Evolved, events unfolding over the network are also provided: on separate servers, developers allow the formation of clans and tribes.

Universe and Trials

The fictional world in ARK: Survival Evolved begins with a global map, diligently highlighting the location of the protagonist and only roughly depicting a tropical island surrounded by an ocean. It is not known how to proceed and where to move: everything will have to be handled manually, fleeing from cold and hunger, extracting resources and hiding from predators and dinosaurs that inhabit the sights around.

And, although at the start the character is almost helpless, everything will change soon – after the extraction of resources and battles it will become easier to play: in ARK: Survival Evolved there will be a chance to increase individual characteristics of the character (health, carry weight, crafting and cooking skills, hunger and cold tolerance). and recipes for weapons and tools will immediately appear in the inventory. And with a pickaxe it is several times easier to get wood!

In less than half an hour, the levels will begin to increase with enviable regularity, and a strange tower will appear on the horizon, frightening with unusual light and ominous sounds. But is it worth rushing around the bends? Or is it better to get comfortable first, establish a base, put supplies in a chest? Versions and Access

The official release of ARK: Survival Evolved in Russian has long been held on Windows and MacOS. The developers offered to download ARK: Survival Evolved on PC to freely explore the island and compete with allies in multiplayer mode. Due to low system requirements and high replayability, ARK: Survival Evolved became a bestseller in a week, with an active audience of over half a million.

And while the novelty is in trend, the developers have decided to release additional versions of ARK: Survival Evolved on Android and iOS. The already familiar gameplay easily blended into the screens of mobile platforms and became an entertaining entertainment for a long time. It’s a pity to play ARK: Survival Evolved is not enough: after the start of the passage, the hours disappear almost imperceptibly.

How to tame a dinosaur in ARK: Survival Evolved?

The fictional islands in Studio Wildcard’s simulator are densely populated by mammals, birds, fish and reptiles. Some of the characters are designed for hunting, while the rest are easy to tame and use for protection, gathering resources, transporting items or hunting. And dinosaurs are the best way to find a loyal ally who can help even in an emergency.

Taming in ARK: Survival Evolved is possible in several ways: the violent version of “friendship” implies first stunning (with bare hands, a club, a slingshot or other types of weapons), and then – transferring some food to the animal’s inventory. An alternative way is to transfer resources directly to the future pet through the quick access bar. The procedure will have to be repeated several times until the dinosaur appreciates the ally and tries to make friends.

ARK: Survival Evolved Walkthrough

It makes no sense to talk about the principles of survival: the developers have specially thought out a large-scale character development system, and at the same time they have depicted a huge island that will have to be explored, collecting resources along the way, building a dwelling and interacting with the characters. It is pointless to skip such important and entertaining stages for the sake of rapid progress. It is better to get into the very jungle, acquire experience and skill, and only after that – start the passage again, but not in the form of a random survivor, but in the shoes of Robinson Crusoe, who has seen both despair and death.

Farming

Nonviolent taming in ARK: Survival Evolved is impossible without berries or food, which is difficult, long and dangerous to collect in locations around. The only way to make things easier is to start your own farm, where the seeds will soon ripen. To access the garden, you will have to accumulate level 10, then the recipe for a small garden will open. Then it remains to plant the seeds and water everything with water. After a separate period of time or with the help of additional tools (fertilizers, greenhouses), there will be a chance to collect fruits and berries.
