Borderlands 3 for Windows

Borderlands 3 is a dynamic third-person shooter with RPG elements and a post-apocalyptic atmosphere that presents the future of a fictional universe in an unusual light: around abandoned cities, wastelands and radiation spreading in all directions.

While the world is overflowing with chaos, the villains only dream of once again seizing power, but the heroes diligently deal with opponents, and cleanse the world and diligently turn events upside down.

Borderlands 3 Features

• Borderlands 3 is a driving action movie: a mess of body parts scattering in all directions, scraps of exploding grenades and blood from wounded bodies unfolds on the screen;
• Each battle is an inexorable test of skills: you have to move around the map with lightning speed, hide behind obstacles, use abilities and interact with the environment. You can’t hesitate – opponents will crush you with numbers!
• Bosses are an integral part of the universe: each “big” enemy has a unique history and makes you act quickly and accurately;
• The cooperative mode has not disappeared anywhere – developers allow to complete all the challenges from Borderlands 3 together with allies added through the lobby or invited directly as you progress.

Gameplay & Characters

The presentation in Borderlands 3 has not changed since the previous parts of the series: as before, you have to navigate a global and pre-planned map and fight opponents and bosses who have captured military bases, virtual cities and organized outposts at every turn. The situation around is frightening, but those who are able to stop the spread of the “infection” are gone, and therefore all that remains is to accept the challenge and start the battle. The battles are dynamic and take place in real time: each hero has to move around the map, hide behind obstacles and use the found equipment, starting with grenades and traps, rifles and pistols, and ending with attacking abilities and protective barriers.

The role-playing part of Borderlands 3 also remained the same: each defeated enemy brings experience points, and they eventually open up access to skills and abilities. Some are extremely passive and bring a bonus immediately after learning, others are used in battle and endow the selected hero with superhuman strength. But, despite the growth of characteristics and the study of skills, only accuracy, reaction and ingenuity will have to be counted in battle – the enemies are completely uninterested in someone’s levels and accumulated experience …

History and updates

Chronologically, the events of the third part of Borderlands unfold 7 years later, after the story told in the sequel. The antagonists are the Calypso twins, who organized the creepy cult “Children of the Storehouse” and who have begun to gather an entire army of bandits and raiders. And as in the previous parts of the series, the heroes (four characters – Zane, Amara, Z4LP and Mose) will have to wage a war with villains and sow good and justice where the power of the chosen equipment will reach.

Updates for Borderlands 3 appear with an enviable regularity: the developers from Gearbox are still adjusting the balance and diligently fixing technical problems (crashes are rare, and FPS has become much more stable). Problems are encountered only with DLC, released almost immediately after the release: for those who ran through the “plot” and did not even try to deal with secondary tasks, it will become much more difficult to survive in the add-ons due to lack of experience and suitable equipment. Even the calibration of difficulty does not help, and therefore you have to return to the previous levels and re-explore the long-familiar scenery.
