Hellish Quart is a sword dueling fighting game where blades really collide with physics and characters use motion capture fencing techniques.

Play as one of the many 17th century warriors and use sabers, rapiers, broadswords and many more blades in quick combat, survival mode or LOCAL multiplayer with friends (you can also play online with Steam Remote Play Together). You can also fight casually with wooden weapons!

Hellish Quart uses active ragdolls and all the damage your blade can do is calculated using real-time physics. Four gamepad buttons represent 4 angles of attack. Various button combinations give special attacks and combos. If you don’t attack, your character will automatically try to defend against your opponent’s attacks. The blades really do block each other, and that’s what keeps you alive. To win, you must use the right timing, measures, technique, speed, and ingenuity – just like you would when fencing in the real world.

The Hellish Quart has a historic setting. The game takes place in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of the 17th century. The character models are created using 3D scans of clothing based on the fashions of the day, and the single player campaign (when completed!) Will be firmly rooted in the realities of the region. You will fight in duels with Zaporozhye Cossacks, Polish hussars, Tatars, Turkish janissaries, Swedish raters, French musketeers and others.
