Hearthstone for Windows

Hearthstone is a free-to-play collectible card game. The application has collected many nominations in the categories of “best mobile”, “strategy” game.

The project developer is Blizzard Entertainment (Diablo, Overwatch, StarCraft series). The controls are simple and have not changed from 2014 to 2018, and the video game itself has no plot – Hearthstone players with a deck of 30 cards find a random opponent. The game itself is free, but it would be more correct to note that this is conditional. The official website sells sets of cards that give an advantage over ordinary players.

Hearthstone Decks

Players can use ready-made decks in Hearthstone, or they can create their own. And it is not at all necessary to have purchased or rare cards in your arsenal – you can easily beat your opponent with budget decks.

Rules for compiling your own set of maps and why you need to do it:

• The player remembers his cards, thus creating the most comfortable environment and increasing the level of the game;
• Keep an eye on your Mana Curve as you draw cards – this is the key to victory;
• Don’t waste your deck – you shouldn’t have it empty;
• One of the advantages of self-selection is the ability to combine and strong combinations;
• Depending on the style of play – aggressive or slow-moving – give preference to cards that deal crushing blows or inflicting slow damage;
• Each card must have its invaluable purpose – to finish off, control the table, defend, and so on;
• Always follow the meta;
• Give preference to cards that are good against popular archetypes like Aggro or Control.

Arena Mode

It is unlikely that beginners should go to the Arena – the entrance is not free (except for the very first one) and is 150 gold or 66 rubles. The essence of the Arena mode in Hearthstone is to test your own strengths and skills. The player needs to build a deck of random cards. The participants of the regime do not come across and are not transferred cards that are in the arsenal. You can lose to the enemy three times, win a maximum of twelve. At the end of the challenge and in case of victory, players receive valuable rewards.

Classes

There are 9 of them in the game.

1. The Mage in Hearthstone has spells that deal damage and clear the table, and often deal a critical hit in one go.
2. The Hunter is an aggressive class looking to finish the match as soon as possible. In Hearthstone, the Hunter literally teaches the opponent a lesson for his mistakes – sets traps, summons animals, returns creatures and does many unpleasant and unexpected things.
3. Increasing the pace of the Hearthstone game, flexible choice, gaining an advantage over the enemy, increasing mana – the Druid is responsible for all this.
4. Priest is chosen by those players who are accustomed to deflecting an attack and prolonging the match, rather than attacking or taking the initiative. The Hearthstone developers emphasized that this class is primarily a healer and is distinguished by the ability to maintain a reserve of health.
5. The Paladin class in the video game Hearthstone is designed for those who are used to capitalizing on everything – as such, cards interact best with others and even non-class ones, adding useful effects.
6. Warrior is, in simple terms, just a tank – cards have a high amount of armor and endurance.
7. The Rogue resembles the Hunter with an aggressive playstyle, but combines with cards with spells. In Hearthstone, this class is good for cheap attacks and for lowering your opponent’s health.
8. The shaman works well with strong cards, but is dependent on having at least some cards on the table.
9. And finally, the last class in Hearthstone is the Warlock. A distinctive feature of this powerful class is that every move necessarily brings some kind of sacrifice.
