The events of the game take place in a washed-out city called “Harran”, where the atmosphere of a zombie apocalypse reigns, and you, as the main character, will try not to rot somewhere, otherwise you will become the same ghoul. In addition to zombies, there are bandits in the game, against whom you also need to defend yourself, otherwise you will get a bullet in the forehead.
The game is very atmospheric, because there is a change of day and night. For example, at night zombies become much stronger and there are many more of them, which makes the night not a very good moment for a sortie in search of things.

Dying Light has a sophisticated parkour system where you can easily climb on cranes and jump on rooftops if suddenly an army of ghouls are chasing you. Also, there is a huge number of weapons with which you will defend against your enemies. Basically, you will use melee weapons, because cartridges in the game are a rare thing, but you are always welcome to craft some kind of electric baton that fell from a zombie policeman.

Melee weapons in Dying Light will always be enough, you can use a simple bat, or a machete that shocks opponents and burns them. But, in the game, there is still a firearm type of weapon, you can get it like from bandits, by killing them, or you can buy it in the store. You can also throw simple weapons, hatchets, shurikens, stick pipes, blow up armies of the infected with grenades, and this is not the end. There are even traps with which you can easily kill opponents by luring them there.

Despite the fact that you are constantly alone and everywhere enemies – there are also simple NPCs from whom you can take quests and gain experience. Also, the game has a cooperative mode in which you and your friends will have to explore this terrifyingly scary world together. In co-op mode, a hunter mode is also available, where you, being a zombie, have to kill other players, which is very fun, because this way you can have a good time with your friends, or with other people.

Well, we can talk about the development of the game itself. In 2013, Warner Bros. studio talked about the development of the game and showed the trailer at E3. In August of the same year, a video was released showing the gameplay of the game. 2014, the release of the game for February 2015 was announced. The official release of the game took place in January 2015. The game has become available on consoles and PC. A year after its release, Dying Light DLC came out.

There are many nice words to say about the graphics in the game. Even at the time when the studio just announced the development of the game, they said that Dying Light will have the latest Chrome Engine 6, which in turn supports Directx 11 and makes the picture very beautiful. This picture conveys all the wonderful atmosphere of the zombie apocalypse, which the developers wanted to convey. But there is a problem, the graphics in the game are very wonderful, but a simple office computer cannot compete with such. Still, an average computer will be enough for all the delights.
