Dungeon of the ENDLESS for Windows

Dungeon of the ENDLESS – Several hundred convicted criminals have been sent to the Auriga system aboard the Success Wreck.

While this was presented as a chance to reclaim their place in society while working hard for the common good, they realized that in reality they would be slave labor sent to colonize an unknown planet. All they knew about Auriga Prime was what the probes told them: there was water, a temperate climate, vegetation, and a lot of metals in the crust. In fact, in Dungeon of the ENDLESS, the planet of Auriga was once a large settlement of galaxy-traveling ancestors known as the Endless. In addition, the planet was still in orbit with a functioning (and well-disguised) defense system that had eagerly revived upon the arrival of Success. A few minutes later, the ship turned into several large pieces of metal falling to the planet.

Each set of containment slots in the Dungeon of the ENDLESS game also functioned as an escape pod, so the ship allowed itself to disintegrate and the surviving prisoners fell bruised but (temporarily) alive and (momentarily) safe on the planet below. Safe, that is, until they realize that they have broken through some structure of the Infinite, into an underground basement so deep and ancient that it could just as well be called a dungeon …
