DESOLATE – two years ago Granichny Island became the epicenter of a large-scale disaster of unknown origin. The New World conglomerate hid this catastrophic event – and is now seeking to remedy the consequences as much as possible.

A large-scale campaign is underway, during which so-called “volunteers” are being sent to the Granichny, most of whom have never held weapons in their hands. Their mission is to investigate paranormal phenomena on the island, gather information and carry out dangerous missions, all in the hope of correcting the mistakes of the past. None of them are ready for what comes next.

Play as a volunteer and explore places filled with threats of all shapes and sizes – from monsters and madmen to supernatural anomalies and seemingly impossible weather conditions. Travel through a truly abandoned world to uncover its secrets.

A Dark Past: Explore a mysterious island filled with abandoned settlements, military bases, and top-secret sites. Explore the secrets of the island – find the records and diaries of previous settlers of the Boundary to uncover its mysterious history.

Explore DESOLATE Threats – Fight for your life in open battles against monsters, marauders and soldiers, or use stealth to inflict critical damage from the shadows. Explore the creatures of the Boundary – and gain advantages in battle by learning more about them.

Strength through Unity Join a 4-player team for a better chance of surviving the perils of the island with unique team abilities such as resurrecting fallen team members, or act as a lone wolf to prove your character.

Thrive among the wastelands, unlock new abilities and train them to increase your chances of survival. Collect recipes and components to create, modify and improve your weapons and equipment. Customize your volunteer with new clothes and armor that you collect throughout your journey around the island.

Resist the madness (or let it consume you). Take care not only of your physical condition, but also of your mental condition. The Boundary Madness will change the world around you, as well as yourself.
