LeaveHomeSafe provides citizens with a convenient digital tool to record their browsing history on their mobile phones by scanning QR codes displayed at venues for use in the Hong Kong SAR. Records of visits will be automatically deleted after 31 days.

If there is a confirmed case at a location located in Hong Kong, the LeaveHomeSafe mobile app will notify those users who have visited the same location at the same time with the infected person (s), thereby increasing citizens’ vigilance and self-defense awareness. how to increase public confidence in visiting various sites.

Once confirmed by the Health Center of the Ministry of Health of the Hong Kong SAR Government, LeaveHomeSafe users who have tested positive or tentatively positive for COVID-19 infection can share their visit history with the Health Center of the Department of Health to help track related contacts.

The LeaveHomeSafe mobile application is developed under the supervision of the General Information Office of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
