After the resounding success of the restart of the Resident Evil series, the announcement of a remake of the third part was not long in coming.
Game plot
The events of the third part take place almost in parallel with the events of the second. Jill Valentine, survivor of the Stars Elite Squad. While still in Raccoon City, the girl discovers that all reports of the events that took place in the mansion in the first part of the franchise have been thrown away. Her apartment is under surveillance, and there are rumors of cannibalism in the city. Jill decides to flee Raccoon City and continue the investigation begun in the mansion.
Jill is forced to make her way through a city in which an epidemic is brewing. The culprit, the Umbrella corporation, sends a detachment of mercenaries for the girl, and their latest project is the super-soldier Nemesis. A completely mutated human, programmed to eliminate the remnants of Team Stars.
The situation is exacerbated by the growing epidemic. The government decides to drop an atomic bomb on the city. Jill now has to not only flee from pursuers, but also to race against time.
At this time, one of the members of the detachment sent by the corporation realizes that their mission is to conceal evidence and clean up the traces of the crime. The young soldier Carlos decides to fight off the detachment and act as he sees fit.

- Jill Valentine – after the events of the first part of the game, she did not manage to get out of the city and was quarantined. Jill is a trained fighter and explosives master.
- Carlos Oliveira is a young mercenary of the Umbrella Corporation. Carlos just joined the ranks of the mercenaries. He fought off his squad, as he realized that their mission was not to save lives, but to clean up the territory. On my way I met Jill and decided to help her.
Gameplay Features
In general, the gameplay of the upcoming game does not differ much from the previous part. Passage of missions is biased towards action scenes. While exploring locations, you need to collect weapons and ammunition. Stealth elements are implemented in the game. Many enemies can be bypassed and saved.
Players will face the almost invincible Nemesis. Upon receiving a certain degree of damage, the enemy mutates into a stronger version. In order to delay the evolution of a super soldier, players need to select battle tactics and, if possible, inflict minimal damage.
Graphics Features
As in the previous parts of the series, the graphics are made using photogrammetry technology. Deep rendering of textures and lighting of frames helps to withstand the tense atmosphere.
Resident Evil Resistance
Together with the third part, the RE Resistance project will be released. The small game is implemented in the asymmetric cooperative format. Players will be asked to play as a master or four survivors. The plot of the game is built depending on the choice of the role. When playing as a master, you need to set traps for a group of survivors and sometimes take control of bosses. The gameplay is based on tactical actions and campaigns to eliminate witnesses. The game for the survivors is a typical passage of locations and battles with enemies.
The remake of the third part of Resident Evil promises a competent rethinking of the classic plot in the realities of the modern world. Trailers of the game showed a quality product that is not inferior to the previous releases of the series.
