To quickly get reminders on the go, you can use the built-in Google Assistant, which is currently available on most Android devices on versions from Lollipop and above and on tablets from Android 6.0 and above. Long press the Home button or set up voice activation with the phrase “OK Google”.

When you need to remember something at a certain time or place, tell the assistant about it and how you need to be reminded of it. For example, you can say “Remind me to buy bread when I’m at the store”, “Remind me to call home at noon”. When you arrive at that location or when the appointed hour arrives, your smartphone or any other compatible device where you are logged into your Google account will remind you.

When you need to be reminded of something without notification, tell the assistant to remember it. For example, you can say “Remember the number of the rented car is such and such”, “Remember that the wife of my friend at work is called such and such.” When you need to remember this information, you just need to ask.
