Sathyabama LMS – Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, formerly known as Sathyabama College of Engineering, was founded in 1987 by Dr. Jeppier. It is a leading institution transferring knowledge in engineering, science, technology and education.

The progress of the institution and its contribution to the field of technical education over more than two decades led to the designation of a prospective university on July 16, 2001. The university has been rated Grade A by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) of the Government of India. and accredited by the NAAC with an “A” grade in 2017, DNV-GL ISO 9001 certified and has been offering exemplary education for the past 29 years.
