Modern Combat 4 for Android

Gameloft Studio is known for developing quality shooters, one of which is the Modern Combat series of games.

The third part of the mobile game was highly appreciated by users, noting the good graphics and an interesting plot, so the project Modern Combat 4 was not long in coming. Gameloft took into account the mistakes from the previous parts and tried to fix them in a new game called Zero Hour.

Modern Combat 4 can be downloaded for Android and iOS devices from the app store. The cost of the game is 529 rubles. In addition, the application has paid content: for example, a player can buy weapons and ammunition for a multiplayer campaign for real money.

What changes has the game undergone in comparison with the previous parts of the series? First of all, Gameloft developed Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour on the Havok engine, which, due to the advanced physics, makes the game more realistic. This also affected the general atmosphere of the game: for example, the death of the enemy now occurs not only because of a shot to kill, but also because of his blood loss, pain shock and other aspects.

An important factor is the stun when falling from tall objects – this affected the balance between players, especially in online mode. At the same time, the changed physics in the game will not prevent the veterans of the Modern Combat series from coping with the controls: it remains the same.

In addition, Gameloft has once again succeeded in creating an intriguing and motivating storyline. This time in the center of events there are as many as two characters – this is Lieutenant Walker and Major Page, who are fighting on opposite sides of the barricades. The player is given the opportunity to go through the storyline campaign for both characters – the protagonist and the antagonist. This is another innovation of Modern Combat 4 for Android and iOS, allowing you to stretch the pleasure of completing the game.

The surprises from the studio do not end there. The new game provides as many as 8 modes:

The possibilities of multiplayer in the game have also expanded: you can connect both via the Internet and through a local network. Before starting the game, the user chooses a specialization, weapons and equipment.

One of the main elements of a successful shooter – weapons – has also undergone some changes. First, Modern Combat 4 has more options for upgrading different types of weapons, although their number has decreased. Secondly, the developers have increased the range of grenades and explosive devices. All these changes led to the advanced customization of the hero’s equipment.

Perhaps the most controversial innovation is the way to obtain weapons in the fourth installment of the Modern Combat series. It is easy to buy it – either for participating in various battles, or for donation. The latter often causes indignation among users, however, we must admit that this made life easier for some players: it is no longer required to spend many hours in the game to save up for the desired item.

When you consider that Modern Combat 4 was developed for mobile devices, not PCs, the level of detail and quality of graphics is simply amazing. The game will especially appeal to fans of bloody scenes: the realism of bleeding is simply off scale. At the same time, the developers made a gift to people suffering from claustrophobia, and got rid of the narrow corridors in the game. Although, with a new level of realism, it would be interesting to watch the effect of the ricochet.

A huge disadvantage of Modern Combat 4 is the lack of a free version: the cost of the application on PlayMarket is relatively high. However, users who have purchased the game highly appreciate its quality, and the screenshots from the game and the trailer for it show high quality graphics and standard gameplay for this series, which will definitely delight fans.
