ID Jovem, implemented by the National Youth Secretariat, was instituted by the Youth Statute (Law No. 12,852 / 2013) and regulated in Decree No. 8,537 / 2015, and is a free virtual identification document that enables low-income youth to access to various 50% discount benefits in cinemas, theaters, concerts and other artistic, cultural and sporting events; two free slots and two slots with a 50% discount on interstate transportation, by vehicle, vessel or railway train in the conventional category, and exemption from paying a fee for issuing a Student Identity Card.

What do you need to have Youth ID?

You must be between the ages of 15 and 29, have a monthly family income of up to two minimum wages, and be enrolled in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico).
