Pivot Animator is a Windows application that specializes in creating 2D shapes and animating sprites using a set of simple actions. Pivot Animator is a vector animation program. Everyone, even a user far from graphics, can understand its device and create his own sketch.

Functionality

The Pivot Animator program has limited capabilities, dictated by the simplified process of creating moving frames based on the “man of sticks” (aka stickman). The utility allows you to work with shapes included in the library or load third-party sprites to create a complete story.

Pivot Animator animations are created in manual mode, where the user controls each individual movement, followed by fixation. All created frames are saved on top, and the performed actions are recorded as a shadow in the main window.

Peter Bone is responsible for the development of the software, who stopped supporting his brainchild in 2016. The Russian version of Pivot Animator survived its dawn along with the popularization of the stickman, after which, over time, interest in it began to fade.
